The Faculty of Jurisprudence invites applications for a
W3 Professorship of Criminal Law and Criminal Case Law
as of now
Reference is made to § 61, section 7, Hessisches Hochschulgesetz (HHG) and conditions of employment based on § 62 HHG. Proficient knowledge of German is expected.
We are looking for candidates who have research focus in Criminal Law and Criminal Case Law. Teaching covers compulsory subjects as well as the main focus 6 (Criminal Justice and Criminology) combined with the necessary examination work in university as well as state exams. In the framework of the main focus 6 we expect applicants to be able to teach European Criminal Law amongst other subjects. We expect the willingness to contribute to the extension of the faculty’s European and international contacts and to work interdisciplinary by taking advantage of the university’s research potential.
