EMP needs to strengthen the team of engineers that is managing the SCM (Software Configuration Management) systems ClearCase and CME. CME is an internally developed client-server system developed in Java and deployed on windows PC platform and windows servers. CME encapsulates complex ClearCase operations for the end-user and enures that the proper SCM process is employed.

As a System Engineer you will be working with requirement break-down, system design and integration. The role also involves acceptance testing and ensuring that deliverables from the development organisation meets quality and process requirements. Additionally you will be part of service operation, including deployment handling, system configuration, and performance & availaibility monitoring. Your taks also includes service desk handling with support and problem resolution.

Competence

You enjoy working in a customer centric environment and have very good communication skills. You have a structured way of working and high analytical ability for solving problems in client/server based software systems. You work well independently but are also a team player who puts a lot of focus on achieving results on time and with high quality.

You should also have:

Master of Science or equivalent

Experience from ClearCase or similar SCM systems

Experience from system design, verification and/or service operation

Experience from Java Enterprise development or similar

Fluent communication in English.
