Project Manager
A leading international financial services provider are looking for a Business (not IT) Project Manager to upgrade their processing platform in their financial accounting department. The role is at Vice-President level. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Russian market and fluent in English and capable of dealing with Londoners and Zurichers. Experience of project management in banks is a must. It is a permanent role.
Description of Project Management role:
- Agree with project stakeholders and project team the project organizational structure, management procedures (scope change procedures, issue escalation procedures, steering committee and status meeting procedures, etc.) for each project;
- Summarize assumptions and constraints of the projects;
- Produce a detailed implementation plan in Microsoft Project and milestone plan for reporting purposes;
- Ongoing management of the projects and maintenance of the implementation plan and other reporting documentation;
- Chair meetings at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on project status;
- Offer constructive options to ensure projects track to original expectations;
- Identify resources and/or scheduling conflicts;
- Monitor and manage potential scope changes;
- Monitor and manage the issues/risks logs for the projects;
- Be an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest possible time;
- Produce STC pack, chair STC meetings;
- Vendor communication;
- Participate in post implementation reviews if required;
Skills required:
- Understanding of operational structure;
- A basic knowledge of business processes
- Strong project management, co-ordination and team skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Proactive approach/
Start Date: July
Location: Moscow
Rate: 70000 USD plus 40% bonus
