Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The MWD/LWD Field Engineer has responsibility for preparation of customer training courses and documentation, delivery of customer site based courses and commissioning new systems and equipment on site. The position shall report primarily to the Global Customer Support Coordinator, Global Training Coordinator and Customer Technical Support Manager, but will also be expected to assist other managers in the delivery of training, course materials and documentation as required.

- Prepare training materials, customer operations and maintenance manuals and customer software help files as required.
- Work with other Departments in the transfer of information concerning new and revised products into training materials and manuals.
- Participate in and report on testing of new and revised equipment.
- Deliver training courses to customers at Customer Site as required.
- Commission systems and equipment at Customer Site.
- Work with Global Technical Support Coordinator to coordinate customer-training programs.
- Prepare full reports on customer visits describing the customers organization, ability, commercial situation, facilities, problems encountered, etc.
- Ensure that technical and quality problems raised by customers during training and commissioning programs are reported and followed up by Manufacturer.
- Provide back up to the Support Coordinator and Training Coordinator during vacation/illness/travel.
- Visit customers to develop customer relationships and communications.
- Any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Customer Technical Support Manager and other Managers. This includes assisting in support functions such as IT, Quality Management, Health & Safety.

The MWD/LWD Field Engineer is required to routinely communicate with customers on various issues and will be expected to do so in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
All duties shall be performed in a safe manner in accordance with company Company's EHS policy.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree within a technical discipline.
- Fluency in English and Russian (spoken and written).
- Good math skills, fluent in computer skills.
- Operational familiarity and knowledge of Oil and Gas straight hole drilling, directional drilling, wireline logging, log analysis, log generation and MWD/LWD operation.
- 5+ years of field experience with MWD/LWD operation.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to support the 24/7 customer calls needs.
