Project Manager (m/f)
In your challenging new role you will be working in a team consisting of 5 project managers. Thanks to your solid technical understanding and your knowledge of available ATIS solutions, you will be involved right from the beginning of the bid phase (responses to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs). Upon contract award, you will be responsible for project implementation, including the allocation of resources in agreement with department heads of software development, systems integration, quality management and service, as well as for the management and control of project plans. You will be directly responsible for each project’s profit and loss and will be incentivised in accordance with company-wide operating profit margin targets. Most of the projects that you will take charge of will have a delivery/implementation time of up to 6 months.
As project manager, your responsibility is to pursue, follow up and take action in accordance with agreed project plans.
As soon as the scope of work has been agreed with customers, you will set the project timetable as well as define internal and external responsibilities, coordinate the availability of hardware and software modules and assume ultimate responsibility for the successful completion of factory and site acceptance testing. Proactive communication is an important part of your daily agenda – whether internally, with the company’s technology/service partners or with customers. Moreover, as project manager in a company with installations around the globe, you will naturally operate on an international level.
