The Purchasing and Supply Management (PSM) Practice is part of the European Operations Practice and is advancing its mission to apply purchasing best practices to dramatically improve our clients’ strategic as well as operational purchasing processes. The core service line of the PSM Practice is Purchasing Transformation, comprising the elements of purchasing diagnostics, department and category strategies, global sourcing, organization, and capability building.

The Practice Manager will be at the center of the PSM Practice, playing a key role in client development, client service, and knowledge and Practice building. He/she will be an active member of the European Operations Practice Leadership Team, advancing the strategic priorities of the Practice. As such, he/she must become an indispensable member of the team, whose judgment, oversight, and insights contribute to the overall success of the Practice.
Specifically, the Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring access to resources and tools, advancing opportunities for integrated problem solving across the operations spectrum for our clients, and creating best practices in our delivery of knowledge services to the consultant community at large.

- You have professional experience and a detailed knowledge of purchasing
- You have an excellent university degree
- You have outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
- You show great initiative and creativity, working well both on your own and as part of a team
- You are confident, enthusiastic, personable, and mobile
- You are persuasive in your written and spoken communications – in the language of the country where you will work, as well as in English.
