EUROPEAN KEY ACCOUNT MANAGERS

The company has strongly developed markets in the UK and Spain with well established businesses in Italy, France, Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia. Central and Eastern Europe represent significant growth opportunities.

 

As part of their dynamic growth strategy they are seeking a number of Key Account Managers for a Pan European portfolio of major customers from the manufacturing, automotive, retail and fmcg sectors.

 

The Role:

 

You will develop business growth and manage the relationship between CHEP and a portfolio of Pan European accounts by developing and executing a mutually agreed strategic European customer plan to increase potential business in line with commercial policy, assuring account profitability, increasing customer satisfaction and customer value added benefits.

 

Specifically:

 

·          Produce & implement a business plan for each account within the portfolio, supporting strategic plans and ensuring consistency and commercial integrity of approach across Europe

·          Achieve revenue performance, account profitability, growth, cash management and FTR for each of the pan European accounts in portfolio

·          Account implementation & roll out

·          Account management including customer needs identification, issue resolutions, efficiency improvement, price negotiations, competitor analysis and continuous improvement

·          Business development using business and market knowledge to identify and analyse opportunities, propose approved quotes and prices for new flows, products and services and negotiate until a final proposal is agreed. 

·          Integrate where possible the customer’s supplier in order to reduce cost and increase the business whilst improving the profitability. 

·          Inform the customer about new development of products and service opportunities.

 

The Candidate:

 

·          High class Degree educated

·          Track record within a customer facing role within a matrix multinational environment

·          Sales/Customer service expertise within a B2B service environment where analysis and business development was a key success factors

·          Experience of working financial measures and KPI’s

·          High achievement of results within a cross cultural matrix environment

 

Further academic qualifications such as MBA or MSc as well as a European language besides English are highly desirable.
