    The European Science Foundation provides administrative and scientific management for COST, its Domain Committees and its Actions through the COST Office in Brussels and corporate support services in Strasbourg.     - on the day of application, candidates are required to hold a doctor’s degree (or equivalent thereof) with a doctoral thesis in Archaeology or in Sciences;
    - candidates are required to have relevant research experience (including archeological field work) in the field of Natural Sciences in Archaeology (esp. palaeoecology, archaeozoology or archaebotany of the Quaternary), as is evident from publications in books and/or peer-reviewed journals;
    - an international „profile‟ gained, for instance, through participation in research programmes at institutions other than one’s own, will be considered an asset;
    - academic teaching experience, as well as immediate availability, will be considered an asset.

    - on the day of commencement of employment, candidates are required to have at least two years of postdoctoral experience;
    - candidates are required to have research experience in the field of the syntax and semantics of Dutch, preferably from a functional perspective, as is evident from contributions to international conferences and publications in books and/or peer-reviewed journals;
    - candidates are required to possess the necessary didactic, organizational and communicative skills for teaching in an academic context;
    - an international ‘profile’ gained, for instance, through participation in research programmes at institutions other than one’s own, will be considered an asset.

    The Faculty of Arts & Philosophy invites applications for the full-time position of professor in the rank of Lecturer (Tenure Track system) in the Department of Dutch literature (tel +32 9 264 41 59), taking effect on October 1, 2010. Responsibilities will include academic teaching (in Dutch), research, and service in the field of Historical Dutch Literature.

    - on the day of application, candidates are required to hold a doctor’s degree (or equivalent thereof) with a doctoral thesis in the field of English linguistics;
    - on the day of commencement of employment, candidates are required to have at least two years of postdoctoral experience;
    - candidates are required to have research experience in the specified field, as evidenced by recent publications in international peer reviewed journals and/or books;
    - active participation in national and international conferences will be considered an asset;
    - an international “profile” gained, for instance, through participation in research programmes at institutions other than one’s own, will be considered an asset;
    - candidates are required to possess the necessary didactic, organizational and communicative skills for teaching in an academic context

    - candidates are required to have proved research experience in the field of French Literature of the 16th-17th century, as appears from contributions to international conferences and publications in books and/or peer-reviewed journals;
    - candidates are required to possess the necessary didactic, organizational and communicative skills for teaching in an academic context on a beginners’ as well as on an advanced level.
    - preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the field of cultural studies and comparative literature;
    - an international ‘profile’ gained, for instance, through participation in research programmes at institutions other than one’s own, will be considered an asset;

    Develop and manage the Scientific and R&D departments;
    Scientific contacts with external experts (Key opinion leaders);
    Scientific advisor for internal departments (regulatory, sales, marketing,...);
    Research & Development : setup and supervision of pre-clinical and clinical studies;
    Responsible for the Scientific Information;
    Participate in product strategy and positioning;
    Continuous formation of internal personnel;
    Scientific support global business development.

    These new Academic Staff members will receive the privilege of focussing on research, with only a limited teaching responsibility, for a period of 1 to 5 years, possibly extended to a maximum of 10 years. As a start-up package, each of these staff members will receive a research grant of € 172.000 (subject to indexation) to contribute towards the costs of establishing a research team. Candidates from all fields of expertise can apply. At least 1 position will be available for Humanities and Social Sciences, 1 for Sciences and Applied Sciences, and 1 for Biomedical and Health Sciences. The selection procedure will be highly competitive.

    To perform Application work  in lab/pilot plants and provide Application Support to customer and Cargill's commercial organization (EMEA and globally), including customer trials
    To promote and support the introduction of new products and applications in the bakery industry
    To write detailed technical reports on the practical work done
    To keep his/her competence up-to-date in order to meet the demands placed upon him/her
    To achieve customer projects (base and growth oriented projects) in line with Cargill's Business Strategy
    To provide and coordinate some Application/Technical Support to selected (project based) (international) accounts in co-operation with respective area sales management, including customer visits/trials in the relevant countries
